Terms of Service
Last updated: 25 June 2026
Welcome to Samparku. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Samparku website and WhatsApp service (together, the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. What Samparku is (and is not)
Samparku is an online directory and intermediary platform that helps people discover, contact, rate and review domestic and skilled workers (such as cooks, maids, plumbers, electricians, drivers, painters and carpenters). Samparku is not an employer, employment agency, contractor or staffing company. We do not employ, supervise, train, control, background-check or guarantee any worker listed on the Platform, and we are not a party to any arrangement, hiring, payment or dispute between users and workers.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding contract to use the Platform. By using Samparku you confirm that the information you provide is true and that you are using the Platform for lawful purposes only.
3. Listings, content and consent
- You may only create or upload a worker profile if you are that worker, or you have that person's explicit permission to list them and to display their name, phone number, work areas and ratings.
- Ratings, comments and reviews must reflect genuine, honest experiences and must not be false, defamatory, abusive, discriminatory or misleading.
- You are solely responsible for the content you submit. We may remove any content at our discretion.
4. Prohibited use
- Do not scrape, harvest, bulk-extract, resell or redistribute contact details or other data from the Platform.
- Do not use revealed phone numbers for spam, marketing, fraud or any unlawful purpose. Numbers are provided only for genuine hiring contact.
- Do not impersonate any person, or list any individual without their consent.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, attack or gain unauthorised access to the Platform.
5. Hiring is at your own risk
Samparku does not verify the identity, qualifications, character, criminal history or work quality of any worker, and ratings are opinions of other users. You are responsible for independently verifying any worker before hiring, including checking identity and references. Any hiring, payment, work, or relationship is strictly between you and the worker.
6. Wallet, fees and refunds
The Platform is currently free to use. A nominal ₹1 may be shown as deducted purely to track contact views; this is credited back and is not a real charge. If we introduce paid features in the future, the applicable fees and refund terms will be shown to you before you pay.
7. No warranty
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any listing, rating or information is accurate, complete or reliable.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Samparku and its founder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss, injury, theft, damage, or dispute arising out of any interaction, hiring or arrangement between users and workers. Our total aggregate liability for any and all claims, whether arising from one or more events, shall not exceed ₹500 (five hundred rupees).
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Samparku and its founder from any claim, loss, liability or expense arising out of your use of the Platform, your content, or your breach of these Terms.
10. Intermediary status
Samparku acts as an "intermediary" under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder. We host user-generated content but do not originate or endorse it. On receiving a valid complaint we will act in accordance with applicable law.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or remove any account, listing or content, or restrict access to the Platform, at any time if we believe these Terms have been violated or to protect users.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any applicable law, the courts at your operating city in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to the Platform.
13. Grievance Officer
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Grievance Officer is:
The Grievance Officer, Samparku
Email: support@samparku.com
We aim to acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within 15 days.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
